At Sully Primary we believe that annual transitions into the following year group are key moments in a child’s academic life and our aim is for transition to be as seamless as possible for learners, parents and staff.

During the Summer term we aim to prepare our children for the forthcoming academic year. We do this by informing children of their new class teacher and new class mates and give them time in their new classrooms and with their new teacher. 

We also hold transition meetings with parents at the beginning of the autumn term with the aim of:

• Sharing key information about each new year group.
• Answering any questions parents might have.
