Starting Reception –

Reception is the start of full time education for your child and the beginning of their education adventure.

During recent years we have operated a staggered approach to starting Reception with pupils attending in smaller groups and for shorter periods of time before attending as a full class, all day. We have found that this has been a great help to pupils as it has allowed them to spend quality time with the Reception staff and settle into the classroom environment before having to navigate additional activities such as going to the hall for lunch.
