Would this be better for a certain year group to take on to ensure continuity of the project? SEWBRC – website used to record data. Robin will find out what type of training is available for primary age pupils and primary staff. Rewilding – looking at areas that need to be developed to enrich areas.
- School Meals – One parent mentioned that their child didn’t enjoy the baguettes. Parents from Parent Forum have not yet visited at lunch time but plan to.
- Annual reports to parents – Reports must include:
Details of progress and achievements in each Area of Learning including strengths and weaknesses;
A summary of pupil attendance;
Details about how the report can be discussed with a member of staff.
Parents want to know:

- If progress is age appropriate
- How to support at home
- It was felt that there was no need to include lengthy overviews of what had been covered within the curriculum
- Parents are interested in knowing about behaviour, manners, friendships, attitudes to learningParental Comments – Twitter – Some year groups are not often on twitter. The school will encourage staff to share learning experiences.
Parking letters – They are ready to go out and will be shared shortly.
Welsh lessons – Parents are enjoying them and commented on the increase in pupils’ confidence when delivering them.
Human Library – Year 6 are taking charge of this and information will be shared soon.
Year group transitions – Parents would like clear communication between classes e.g. a letter sent out at the end of the academic outlining where the classroom is, resources needed etc. This will be discussed with staff.

Parents Evening – Parents really enjoyed coming into school to see classrooms, learning environments etc.
Health and Safety concern – A parent questioned how closely pupils are monitored and examined after an accident takes place. The school has clear processes in place for dealing with First Aid issues. The school will remind staff of the importance of passing on information.
Behaviour issues – Some parents have raised concerns about behaviour in a year group – feel that learning time is being wasted due to disruption. Parents commented that there had been a lot of supply teachers in one class.
Damaged clothing due to art supplies – A parent raised concerns about clothes being damaged by art supplies. Can we make sure that pupils wear aprons when using art supplies? The school will ensure that there are appropriate coverings available for pupils to use when engaged in art and craft activities.
