FROM MRS WADDINGTON:

Dear Parents/Carers,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank pupils, parents, governors and staff for all their efforts in ensuring this year has, once again, been a highly successful one.

Our Year 6 children are now ready to move on to the next step in their education, I wish them well and would like to remind them that they are always welcome at Sully PS. I am also looking forward to hearing all about their future successes and achievements.

We say a sad goodbye to Mrs Sheldon who leaves to take up a post in St Illtyd PS, a school that is closer to her home. She will be greatly missed but we wish her all the best. We also say a temporary goodbye to Mrs Barlow as she leaves to undertake her year secondment as a Home Link Officer for all cluster primary schools. This role will involve Mrs Barlow being based in Sully PS on a Friday. During this day she will be hosting a drop in session for parents to discuss any issues and/or worries they are experiencing. Further details on these sessions will follow.

As a school we continually look to improve our provision, as such we welcome your views in order to work together as a team. I would be grateful if you could complete our online parent/carer questionnaire by clicking on the link below or accessing it through our website. The questionnaire will close on August 9th.

On behalf of all the staff and governors at Sully I wish you all a very relaxed and hopefully sunny summer holiday. I look forward to welcoming pupils, old and new, back to school on Tuesday 3rd September 2019. Thank you for your continued support, it is much appreciated.

The Wye and Usk Foundation is a rivers trust that improves the ecology, habitat and water quality of those rivers and provided free education sessions for both Year 3 classes last Wednesday.
