The Book Fair will now start this afternoon at 3.15pm and then run before and after school until next Friday morning.

We still need volunteers to help at the Book Fair.  Please contact the school office if you are able to help at any session either before or after school – we would be very grateful!

Miss Harries’ enrichment group will be selling their products made from recycled plastic on Tuesday 19th March from 2.00pm in Miss Harries’ classroom.  Come and buy a garden ornament, birdfeeder, or keyring!  All items are priced between 50p and £1.50.

Over the next few months many of our Year 5 children will be taking to the streets with PCSOs watching for dangerous parking and driving around our school.  Our Junior PCSOs will be uniformed and highly visible, wanting to speak to parents/grandparents/childminders who endanger the lives of our pupils, parents and local residents by parking and driving recklessly around our school.

Two of our talented pupils, Izzy and Emma, will soon be treading the boards of The New Theatre as members of Shrek the musical.  Attached is a flyer where you can find details of how to book your ticket if you so wish.

The Vale of Glamorgan Family Information Service has organised an ‘Index After School Session’ for families of children with disabilities or additional needs.  It will be held next Wednesday, 20th March from 4-6pm at Margaret Alexander Community Centre Barry.

There will be activities for children and young people while parents access information and meet other parents over a cuppa and light refreshments.

Please contact the Vale FIS to confirm attendance, details are on the poster attached to this newsletter. Please note that children do not have to be on the Index to attend.
