There will be no Hockey Club next week, Tuesday 10th March, as Mrs Munro-Morris is unavailable. All other clubs will run as usual.
During our recent Eisteddfod celebrations we witnessed a huge amount of talent!
Many of our pupils spent time at home cooking cakes and biscuits, designing Welsh-themed spoons, creating films about why they love Wales and creating imaginative works of art. We were also extremely impressed with the children who had taken the time to learn a poem for our Welsh Recitation competition.
On the day, the Foundation Phase children enjoyed an afternoon of Welsh singing and celebrating all the home learning projects they had carried out. Mynydd were victorious in the Key Stage 2 Battle of the Choirs whilst Ynys were the overall winners.
William in Year 6 was our worthy winner of the Bardic Poetry competition after writing an amazing poem on climate change. To read this poem and view some of the entries please visit our website or twitter account. Thank you for all your support.
YEAR 6 INTERNATIONAL VISITS
Due to concerns regarding travel across Europe, regretfully our planned trips to Portugal on 23rd March and Italy on 18th May have now been cancelled.
Please can we remind all parents to send their children in with a named water bottle for use in the classroom, particularly in light of the current health issues.
PARENT FORUM MINUTES
The minutes from the last Parent Forum meeting are now on the school website under the ‘Parent Zone’ tab. The next meeting will take place on Tuesday 2nd June at 9.00am in the staffroom. All parents are welcome and we would love to have at least one representative from every year group!
Please find attached a letter from the ‘Safer Vale Partnership’ regarding parking outside schools.

- Remodelling of the current staff kitchen to create a working kitchen for the pupils
If you think that you would be able to give us a quote then please contact the school via email on firstname.lastname@example.org
