As the last Parent-Governor elections took place so recently, the Vale of Glamorgan have advised us that a new election is not required to fill the latest vacancy, and that the nominee with the next highest number of votes should be elected.
As a result, Mrs Claire Venn has been offered the position and we are pleased to say that she has accepted.
There is a strict policy in place in school regarding earrings. If your child does have pierced ears then they may only wear studs in school. For health and safety reasons no earrings should be worn on PE days or any earrings must be removed by the child.
If you do wish your child to have their ears pierced, we suggest that this is done at the start of the summer holidays so that the earrings are able to be removed when school restarts in September.
