EDUCATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY DROP-IN SESSIONS
A reminder that there are three sessions available for appointments without referral. Details are on the attached poster.
Miss Harries’ enrichment group will be selling their products made from recycled plastic on Monday 17th December between 2.00pm and 2.45pm in Miss Harries’ classroom. Come and buy a Christmas tree decoration, a Christmas keyring, a wreath for your front door or a Christmas picture. All items are priced between 20p and £1.50
Next Friday will be fun non-uniform day at Sully School! We invite all children to wear a Christmas jumper, hat or headband or any festive outfit. No donation is required, it is just for fun.
On the same day we will be having our Christmas dinner. If your child did not return their slip, please send them to school that day with a packed lunch as no alternative will be available. We will remind those children the previous day. Children having packed lunch will of course be able to join in the fun in the dinner hall!
MAKATON FRIENDLY SCHOOL
We are a recognised Makaton-friendly school. Makaton is a language program which uses signs, symbols and speech to enable people to communicate. It supports the development of essential communication skills such as attention, listening, comprehension and recall.
Every week we teach the children a new ‘sign of the week’ which we hope they will share with you and the wider community. The sign of the week is posted on the school’s twitter feed and on our school website. We have also posted some short video clips on the school website under the Learning Zone menu, should you wish to become involved and learn some signs too.
Feel free to join in and keep looking at the website for more videos demonstrating simple signs.
