INSET DAY – January 18th 2019

Please be aware there will be whole school INSET on Friday January 18th 2019.  School will be closed to all pupils on this day.

PARENTLITE FORMS

Please return your Parentlite forms as soon as possible, signed by BOTH PARENTS and with both parents’ email address.

LATENESS

We have noticed an increase in lateness throughout the school.  It is very important that children arrive in time to line up to go into class at 8.55am.  Children coming in late are disruptive for the rest of the class, with registration taking longer and dinner choices having to be established.

If your child is late, please come in to school via the office so that we do not contact you later if your child has already been marked absent.

AN ECO THANK YOU

Thank you for all your donations of recycled materials for making Christmas decorations.  We now have plenty to be working with!

CHILDREN IN NEED

This year we raised an incredibly impressive £651.02.  Thank you for your generosity and for supporting the Sully Senedd cake stall whether by donating cakes or buying them!

KS2 CHRISTMAS PERFORMANCE EXTRA TICKETS

Your KS2 child has today brought home a slip which can be used from Monday to request extra tickets for the three performances of ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’.  Please send your requests in as soon as possible, bearing in mind that the evening performance sells out first.

ATTENDANCE FOR THE WEEK

Our whole-school attendance figure for this week is just 96.1%, getting closer to our school target of 96.4%.

This event is now sold out, tickets cannot be purchased on the night.

JOLLY JARS

Tonight your child will bring home a jolly jar and a letter explaining what to do with the it – please if you can, have a bit of fun filling it and wrapping it.

We hope to have plenty to sell this year, sadly last Christmas many children were upset when they could not buy a jar as they sold out very quickly!

BEACH HUT CHRISTMAS STALLS

On the last week of term Monday 17th to Thursday 20th at 3.20pm we will be having a few Christmas stalls at the beach huts and at the outdoor classroom.

We will be selling jolly jars, sweets, Christmas novelties, mulled wine and hot chocolate!
