Today your child has brought home a letter about purchasing tickets for their year’s Christmas production.

The procedure for each of the three performances (Reception, Y1 and Y2, and KS2) is different, so please ensure that you read the relevant letter carefully – requests for too many tickets will be returned to you.

Please return the slip as soon as possible to ensure that you are able to get your choice of performance time!

Details of how and when to purchase further tickets are on the letter.

Sully Primary School is proud to be recognised as a welcoming, inclusive school.  One of the ways in which we promote inclusive communication with the wider community is by teaching the children some basic signs and symbols through the medium of Sign Supported English (Makaton).

During Monday’s assembly, the children are shown a ‘Sign of the Week’ in sign language and symbol form.  The ‘Sign of the Week’ is also included in the school’s Twitter feed which is available on the school website.

It would be fantastic to involve parents, families and the community in supporting our children when learning the signs and symbols!

The children in Reception and Year 4 are still looking for volunteers to listen to them read.  If you can help them out they would be very grateful – please let the school office know.

Our whole-school attendance figure for this week is a fantastic 96.6%, which exceeds our school target for this year, 96.1%.

Individual class figures were as follows:

DG 94.3 %

SH 92.2%

AB/SR 96.0%

CH 93.3%

DJ 99.3%

HB 100.0%

LS/AM 96.0%

CP 99.6%

CDW 99.6%

JBz 95.8%

MP 98.4%

KM 95.2%

CMM 96.8%

So Mr Jarvis’s Y2 class is top of the Foundation Phase and Mrs Boyle’s Y3 class were the KS2 champions with a fantastic 100%! Well done – these classes will have extra play next week!
