EPIPEN UPDATE
We are fully aware of the difficulties currently being experienced by those needing to access new Epipens. Schools have been advised by the Welsh Government that some junior Epipens can be used beyond their ‘best before’ date.

If you have any concerns about your child’s Epipen, please contact your GP. If you need to check the date on your child’s Epipen in school, please do contact us.

PARENT EVENTS – THANK YOU
Mr Williams writes:
‘Staff have been incredibly busy during the past fortnight organising presentations, resources and activities to assist parents/carers support their children in numeracy and reading. We have also enjoyed welcoming parents to our book sharing open afternoons.

The reading event for parents was not as well attended as hoped, we have therefore added a variety of presentations created by staff onto the school website. These presentations can be accessed by clicking on ‘Learning Zone’ then ‘Reading for Pleasure’. We hope that you find them useful in supporting your child read, developing their deeper comprehension skills and using the home-reading books successfully.

Don’t forget that you can access videos demonstrating how we approach the teaching of mathematical strategies on our website by clicking on ‘Learning Zone’ then ‘Homework Help’.
