Lost property will be displayed in the Junior Yard after school all next week, weather permitting. Anything left on Friday will be taken either to the charity shop or the dump.
MUSIC LESSONS FOR Y2 TO Y6
If your child will be in Y2 to Y6 next year, then they may like to take music lessons in school. If so, please sign up as soon as possible so that lessons can start with all pupils promptly in the second week of term.
Please do not purchase an instrument without referring to the relevant teacher. Some instruments are available to borrow from the school.
Full details of the lessons and contact details are attached to this newsletter, and your Y1 to Y5 class child has also brought home a printed slip today.
Please could all Foundation Phase parents return any Read Write Inc books to school before the end of term. Many thanks.
A request from Miss Price and Mrs Williams: ‘Y4 are having a camp outside on Monday or Tuesday next week as part of their end of topic celebration. If anyone could lend us a pop-up tent of any size, we would be very grateful if they could bring it in on Monday.’
LOST CAKE PLATE
If anyone bought a sponge on a spotty plate with a cover from the cake stall at the school fete last Saturday, please could you return the plate and cover to the school office? Please ask grandparents and friends too!
Y6 LEAVERS’ CONCERT
The Y6 Leavers’ concert on Wednesday 18th July will begin at 9.15am and not 9.30am as previously stated.

So this week’s best attenders is a draw between Mrs Heaton’s Y1/2 class and Mr Jarvis’ Y2 class in the Foundation Phase and anther draw in KS2 between Mrs Parry’s Y5 class and Mrs Munro-Morris’s Y6 class! Well done to them all – these four classes will get ten minutes extra play next week.
The football didn’t stop our summer fete being another great event, everyone looked like they were having a great time!
A huge thank you to everyone who helped at the fete and to everyone who came and supported our school, the fete made an incredible £4000!
Next week , from Monday to Thursday we will be selling the remianing tea towels after school – each child in the school has drawn their face, so we have 409 cute little faces across 2 tea towels!
Buy them for a Christmas gift for family members or just a keepsake for your children.
They cost £5 each, £4.50 each if you buy two or and even better, £4 each if you buy three or more so don’t miss out!
We will also be having a tuck shop after school to clear our sweet stock ready to buy more for all the exciting events we have planned for the next academic year……
